Choosing for lunch Ing Bakwan Depot, which is situated 300 metres away was a good idea. The hotel was near to Gubeng train station. Everything we wanted to see, such as siola surabaya museum was an easy walk to the venue.
Nothing atall.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our romantic escape, as it was close to the bustling nightlife and restaurants. The room was well-maintained and had a comfy bed and a clean bathroom. The room service was efficient and the staff was very helpful in accommodating our requests. The breakfast had a good variety of options including local cuisine and continental dishes. Another advantage was the availability of a spa and gym.
We did encounter some issues during our stay. The check-in process was time-consuming and the staff at the reception were not so friendly.

THE hotel did not have an airport shuttle. they sake that they can arrange it, bit they charged double the price. Meter taxi will cost you around 100000 roepia.

The bed was nice, better pillows than in other hotels in Indonesia. Staff was helpful in providing information on a trip to Bromo Vulcano, even called their manager at home.....
I would not recommend this hotel for tourists. I would qualify it as a low-budget business hotel. The hotel looks like the best days have been gone. The neighborhood is not very good, the hotel resides in a back street. We decided to check out after one day and just have the taxi driver bring us to another hotel, after originally have reserved three days.

The location is convenient, with easy access to Malang and Madura island. the rooms are spacious and clean, with unique and impressive decorations. the service is warm and friendly, and the breakfast offers a variety of dishes. the hotel has a fish pond and a bridge where guests can relax and take pictures.
The restaurant has some issues with insects, which can be a bit bothersome during meal times.

V3 Hotel has that home ambience and it has large spaces though its interior reception area is not done up enough like more lounge sofas and chairs to sit and rest, TVs to watch while waiting, art pieces on the sparse walls to admire but the tropical garden is a good and welcome sight and well-kept. Complaint was attended to promptly. Thanks.
The large hall spaces around the reception and registration area are too sparsely decorated. Hang some Indonesian art on the walls. Show your country by displaying artifacts that represents your Indonesian culture and a good map to show surabaya and the surrounding regions(both Java Timur and Java Tengah togehter will be excellent)

It had an impressive entrance with cascading waterfall features.
Room no130 which I stayed in was shabby and dull.Wallpaper was torn off the walls in several places and dirty marks were evident. The room needs redecorating in my opinion.A big disappointment once leaving the reception areas. Also the pillows/pillowcases although looking clean smelt of stale sweat and I covered mine with a spare to towel to disguise the unpleasant smell.
